1.In Silver, When Nick says "Bobby you be quiet out there*, he is taking to his dog. He doesn't have the dog anymore though, because he bit the pool man! 2.P-Nut got his name from a friend in high school who thought his head was shaped like a peanut. 3.S.A. stands for *Spooky Apparition*! 4.The *Nazz* in Brodels refers to Trevor Cole, the guitar tech's grandfather. 5.Terrence Henry in Silver is an ex-friend of 311's who ran up a huge phone bill of $2,000. 6.The front of the Grassroots cover is really fungus on the side of a dumpster. 7.Homebrew is about expirementing with acid. 8.Nick, Chad, and Tim are from the west side of Omaha. SA and P-Nut are from the south side. They are the slobs, slackers, and left-handers of the group. 9.P-Nut has taken up Yoga! 10.SA and Chad were roomates in college. 11.P-Nut played the violin in second grade. 12.The 311 Logo, website, CD design, etc. was designed by Pawn Shop Press. It is mentioned in [Nutsymptom] - *turn out the dope shit like the one that's called Pawn Shop Press*. 13.The three Omaha releases, *Dammit*, *Unity*, and *Hydroponic*, along with *Omaha Sessions*, were self-produced and released on the band's own record label, What Have You records. 14.Some call SA *Grandpa* because he sleeps a lot. 15.Adrian Young from No Doubt credits Chad Sexton as being an influence on his drumming. 16.Joan has watched the *Enlarged to Show Detail* video once. P-Nut warned her first. But a later version is available at some record stores for $15 to $30. 23.The noise at the end of Galaxy is Scotch Ralston saying, *There is just no denying it, that was it.* Then Chad says, *Yeah.* 24.The French lyrics in Salsa, *Je vais a la plage parce que le quignol est chouette*, can be translated as *I go to the beach because the puppet show is cool/grand* or *I go to the beach to dig chicks.* 25.The line *Stranger Flowers* from 8:16 AM, comes from the book *On The Road* by Jack Kerouac. 26.If you ~rewind~ about one minute and thirty seconds before the first track on *Transistor*, there is a hidden track. Note that this only works on some CD players. 27.At the very end of *Transistor* there is anoter secret sound. 28.On the last night of the Sugar Ray/311 tour, Sugar Ray presented the band with a cake with the 311 logo on it. 29.A *brodel* is a brother. 30.In Electricity, when Nick sings, *We're all from the same Lucy*, he is referring to the remains of early humans found my scientists which support the theory of evolution. 31.311 *DoEs NoT* stand for KKK!! It is an Omaha police code for indecent exposure, and has other meanings as well. Such as there were 3 members, then 1 was added, then 1 more - 3+1+1=311. It is supposedly the total that P-Nut always gets every time he goes to Taco Bell. P-Nut also states that, *Also knowing a little numerology and studying a little magic, which I do: in some factions, three is man and eleven is magic. So it's like a magician sort of thing*. To Tim, it was dictated to them by a higher intelligence. And to Nick, it's five friends making music. 32.Marc Herismendy of *Save Ferris* was influenced by 311. 33.311's first real show was on June 10, 1990. They opened for Fugazi at Sokol Hall south of Omaha. 34.311's obsession with aliens is partly from an out of body experience SA had in college. He claims he was not using drugs at the time. 35.Grassroots debuted at #193 on the Billboard top 200. 36.The sumo guy in the Down video was the guy in Unnesassary Roughness (an early 90's football film). He is the fat Hawaiian center for the team. He is the one that has the big crush on Cathy Ireland. 37.Nick says the things he missed most on tour are his girlfriend and his dogs. He gets to see his girlfriend, but not the dogs. 38.SA Takes blue-green algae, and Nick takes ginseng.
